Student Artwork

All of the artwork on this page were submitted by local students from Yucaipa High School and Mesa View Middle School.  Each student was given a packet with collages incorporating words wartime photography from as far back as the United States Civil War. Students were given the following prompt:

  • “Carefully study the two photo collages in this packet. Think about what you are feeling as you look at the images. Do certain images or words jump out at you? Create a piece of artwork in response to any or all of the images/words you see.”

The artwork that follows is each student’s unique response to that prompt.
